THE SCIENCE BEHIND
THE KETO DIET...

The keto diet is an ultra low carb, higher fat diet. Reducing your carb intake essentially forces your body to change its fuel source. Instead of relying on sugar (glucose) that comes from carbohydrates, your body will use ketone bodies instead. Ketone bodies are a type of fuel that the liver produces from stored fat. Typically, you’ll consume 50g or less of carbs a day on a keto plan.

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO FOLLOW IT FOR?

For optimum results, we recommend this meal plan for 8 weeks and complementing it with exercise. However, it’s best to speak to a health professional if you’re planning to do so long term.
